Didn’t read the article to be honest. Anything with the word illuminati in it doesn’t interest me.
As for your question, I am a Christian pastor and I enjoy rock music. Remember part of the “devil in music” has its past in bigotry. The black bands that were once popular played an upbeat music. Many referred to the beat as “jungle music”. They also believed that the devil was in it.
Remember also that they thought the devil was in Elvis Presley (the way he wiggled his hips). This was the expansion of the above comment.
A society that believed in slow dance was now dealing with strange new dance forms and attributed it the the devil.
The truth is that rock music can be terrible and immoral. It can also be uplifting and positive. You need to judge it by the character of its performers and the words and actions implied in their music.
Musicians whose lives have been ruined by drugs and alcohols have been walking a dangerous line. Their music often reflects it. Music that puts women down or speaks about them in inappropriate ways is poor. Music that suggests killing, rape, etc is inappropriate.
Just use your common sense and ask God for guidance. Enjoy the good music to its fullest!
