Should I pursue an English degree if I already have two associates already?

So, I already have an Associates in Music and an Associates in Business (both AS not AAS). I am currently pursing a BA in Business (yet to take the upper level courses, which gives me room to change my major). But I also love to write! I write songs for my church, as well as poems. I’m currently writing a book, and also a screenplay. Therefore, I’m thinking of changing my degree to English. I’ve heard there’s many careers suitable for an English major including the obvious (teacher, author, editor, etc), as well as jobs in business since the demand for people who can write well and think critically is high. I’ve always thought about going to law school afterward or getting a paralegal certificate. So what do you think? Please keep in mind the two degrees I have already.

Two degrees are better than one. You should certainly pursue your goal in obtaining a degree in English. You can do anything, academia, business, insurance, sales, and even other areas you have not explored. Just that fact that you have the degree shows that you are intelligent, and can understand issues relative to your goals in the work place.
