Transferring to Georgetown Univ.?
I’m hoping to transfer to Dartmouth or Georgetown, and I’m wondering how you think my transcript looks. Any advice would be great!
:
Grades: 3.5 -.3.7 gpa
Volunteer: 4 hours weekly, +500 hours/2 months buddhist center.
Sports: fencing, rowing, (skateboarding?)
Music: Violin, occasional informal orchestra performance
Art: entering photography art comp.
Other stuff: Greenpeace lobby program
Greenpeace campus coordinator
attended 2 DC environmental rallies
Environmental conference coordinator
Buddhist tour event organizer
Travel stuff:
- China 6 months studying mandarin
-Nepal 6 months in monastery
-Canada 3 years for boarding school
I’m hoping to join a re-election club on campus and get an internship with the Senator’s office or my district Rep.

your missing some info: your intended major
The average GPA could vary from department to department, so knowing your major could really help me figure out if you got a chance or not. As of right now, i’d say you got a chance to get into georgetown, but i dont know if you got a chance to get into the major you want. posting your sat scores would be better too.
