What your favorite site for listening to the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia?

I love the GD and Jerry.

I know about Sugarmegs and Archive
Any other suggestions for free live or recorded music?

Have a Grateful day

Mike in Santa Barbara

www.nugs.net is a good one, plus they have a lot of other jam bands on the site and most of what is posted is FREE.

www.archive.org/details/audio has a wealth of great shows in MANY different formats that you can stream or download…FREE.

www.brentmydland.net has a TON of Dead shows during the Brent Mydland years and some other cool stuff too.

Happy listening man!

I personally have a HUGE library of shows and a FTP server in which me and my friends trade all types of shows from different artists. Contact me and I will set you up with the server.

EDIT: I agree with Pete G, Pandora is an awesome site in which you can build your own radio stations based on whatever type of music you want. The only drawback if you are a Dead Head is that Pandora will only play album releases of songs by the Dead if you create a station of just the Dead. I know a lot of Heads like to hear live shows, rare shows and bootlegs. Not too many of those in Pandora’s archives, but try Pandora out anyway and support them as well. It is a great set up they have!
