iTunes WiFi music store with iPod Touch?

Hey, so im getting an ipod touch and i was wondering how this whole wifi downloading works….like if i were to get a itunes gift card do i add it to my account and then i get a current ballance or something? then when i sync my ipod touch to my computer does it like sync with the balance??

All of the above is what i think of how the wifi store works…please (in detail) explain how it works or tell me if all i said is correct…

i have a 8 gb i pod touch i love it.
ok so you download a song or a movie from i tunes to your i pod.
it will ask you for a login and the gift card and all that good stuff. and when you sync your i pod it will just transfer that over to your computer. and to convert regular movies into i pod movies use this software. it makes the files big but its definetly worth it. software is called videora ipod converter
