Classical Music Myths
September 13th, 2008

does listening to classical music really make you smart?
basically is mozart effort a myth or a fact?
I think listening to all music increases your mental awareness – that’s to say – not just one “genre”.
Classical, jazz, blues, rock.. ALL music is good (I’m not referring to lyrics here…)! I started life on classical, though .. and played a variety of instruments as well. All music is math – not just classical – and all classical music is not soothing! Some of it is quite irritating to the ear, and some of it doesn’t exist at all (John Cage – the music is “between” the notes, in the silence!) Cacophony and dissonance mmmmhmm.
