What do you think the categories in music should be?
I think it should be broken down and be:
Blues
Jazz
Classical
Country
Lyrics&Singing (they’re nearly the same thing!)
R&B and Soul
Hip hop and Dance
Indie
Pop and Rap
Punk pop (for all the punk pop bands e.g. Paramore, FOB etc…)
Rock and Metal
Alternative and Punk
Other – music
Who agrees?
I pretty much agree, though i think country now needs split into young country and classic country. Taylor Swift is not country and alot of others arent either but there they are.
