Akon Music Mr Lonely
Anyone else think Akon writes the poorest lyrics in music?
‘I’m trying find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful’
‘I wanna make up right now now now’
‘Your so beautifullll, so damn beautifulllll!’
‘I wanna love you, allready know I wanna love you’
‘Lonely, Im mr lonely, I have nobody, all on my own’
Im sorry, but I dont think there is anything that sounds good or is in anyway clever about his lyrics. Most of his songs are lines like these that just repeat for most of the song and it just sounds poor. I think kindergarten kids could write these lyrics. Now smack that was an exception but apart from that I dont see how Akon is so popular with the lack of creativity in his lyrics.
I agree his lyrics aren’t the best around. I wouldn’t call them the poorest lyrics, maybe like the simplest lyrics.
I think his main goal is to get a radio hit, I don’t think his intentions are to touch people with deep, creative or complicated lyrics, if those are his intentions he’s failing. A lot of people just want a catchy song they can sing alone with, that’s why he’s so popular.
